Fire Eating and Fire Breathing are dangerous,... Much more so than playing with regular fire toys.
We do not advocate anyone try fire breathing or fire eating except after intense research and consideration. We recommend that you first read everything you can lay your hands on and then talk to experienced fire breathers / fire eaters.
Unlike other fire play, breathing fire and eating fire can have significant long term health risks. Your mouth is a very porous membrane, and if you do not use the proper tools, fuels and techniques you are risking your health.
We sell contact fire, fire eating & fire breathing torches. We also sell kevlar string than can be used to build these and other fire tools for performers. If you are purchasing kevlar string from us in order to build these types of toys please do your research first.
We've frequently been asked which fuel is best for fire breathers. The Burning Man Ocean of Fire project to break the Guinness record of the number of simultaneous fire breathers (71+) will be using Lamplight Farms Ultra Pure Lamp Oil, so chances are it will do the trick for you too. (I'd go with the 'Clear' as opposed to say... the 'Purple'.)
Fire eating performers and fire breathers are a little bit crazy,... good fire eaters and fire breathers are a little bit crazy and very respectful of fire.
