Sold by the foot - the average length of chain needed is around 12-14". Measure from your wrist to just before your arm pit. Remember to allow for the fingers,wick, swivels, split rings. When finished your set of poi you generally want to have the wick sitting around your arm pit. It is a personal thing though some people like longer and for indoor performances and partnering moves you may want it shorter.

Welded chain is NAFAA approved and will not tangle or deteriorate. Ball chain is not. Buy the best - cuz you're worth it ;)
